NAME
perspic - test indexing and word search program
SYNOPSIS
perspic
DESCRIPTION
- perspic should be fairly self explanatory. If one selects
- a directory in the Open submenu, perspic will index all files
- with the .txt suffix, and create the resulting index in the us
- er's home directory. All indexed files currently must contain
- only standard ASCII text characters, e.g. letters, digits, and
- punctuation. A word, in lower case, can then be entered in the
- box provided, and perspic will fill in a tree of matches, provid
- ing a one line summary for each. Selecting one of these lines
- opens the full text at that point in the lower window.
