rprcs(1)
NAME
- rprcs - a front end for prcs to do checkins and checkouts
- at a remote site.
SYNOPSIS
rprcs PRCS_command [PRCS options] [-h remotehost] project
DESCRIPTION
- This manual page documents briefly the rprcs command.
- This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribu
- tion because the original program does not have a manual page.
- rprcs is a front end for prcs that uses rsh and rsync to
- communicate with a remote site and do prcs's checkins and check
- outs at the remote site. For the moment rprcs is one shell
- script that manages all related files, there is no real client
- and server as e.g. in prcs2.
- rprcs requires that a server containing the remote reposi
- tory and running prcs and rsync be available. (See
- /usr/share/doc/prcs-utils/README for more information about the
- setup.)
EXAMPLES
- See /usr/share/doc/prcs-utils/rprcs_session.log for an ex
- ample of a session using rprcs.
