DESCRIPTION
- Wireless Assistant is a full-featured KDE application with
- an intuitive interface. It scans for wireless access points and
- displays link quality, encryption and other useful information.
- When user wants to connect to a network, Wireless Assistant
- opens up its wizards and guides the user through Wi-Fi settings.
- After a successful connection is made the settings are remembered
- so next time the user won't have to enter them again.
- Unlike other similar applications, Wireless Assistant re
- quires virtually no configuration, it is ready to use right af
- ter installation. Features include WEP encryption, automatic
- (DHCP) and manual configuration, hidden ESSIDs and more.

- - Not Broadcasted ("hidden") ESSIDs Support
- - Per Network (AP) Configuration Profiles
- - Automatic (DHCP, both dhcpcd and dhclient) and manual

- The program uses wireless-tools, route, ifconfig,
- dhcpcd/dhclient as its backends so they need to be installed.
EXAMPLES
