xexec(1)
NAME
xexec - Run an arbitrary program from Xwindows
DESCRIPTION
- xexec is a program designed to allow quick and easy access
- for running simple command lines. For example, let's say you
- wanted to start Netscape, but didn't have it on your window man
- ager's menu. Just run xexec, and type netscape in the text box,
- press enter, and there you have it. It is especially useful for
- allowing access to any available command via one primary menu en
- try. One of the nice things about exec is that it doesn't stay a
- process after you run a program.
OPTIONS
There are none. Run it as it is, there isn't much to it.
BUGS
None have crawled up and bit me (yet).
