NAME

xsteg - graphical frontend to stegdetect and stegbreak

SYNOPSIS

xsteg

DESCRIPTION

The xsteg utility execute on the chosen file stegdetect with

the option specified in the main window ; if stegdetect find some

type of steganography into the given file, then stegbreak is exe

cuted against the file, to try to discover the key through a dic

tionary attack.

The xsteg utility indicates the accuracy of the detection

with a number of stars behind the detected system.

ERRORS

xsteg works only for JPEG images.
