NAME
- firedns_getcname - Create a query to resolve the canonical
- name of a host
SYNOPSIS
#include <firedns.h> -lfiredns int firedns_getcname(const char *name)
DESCRIPTION
- firedns_getcname() creates and sends a request to resolve
- the canonical name (CNAME) of name. It returns a file descriptor
- that should be select(2)'ed upon (read set). When the file de
- scriptor shows ready for reading call firedns_getresult(3) to re
- trieve the results.
RETURN VALUE
- Returns an integer file descriptor that can be used the
- same as any other file descriptor. Returns -1 on error.
