NAME
grub-floppy - program to do build a generic grub boot disc
SYNOPSIS
grub-floppy [options] <block_device>...
DESCRIPTION
- grub-floppy is a program to build a generic grub boot
- disc. The boot disc when booted provides the grub command line
- (also referred to as the grub shell).
- For more information on using the grub command line, see
- info grub
OPTIONS
- This program follows the usual GNU command line syntax,
- with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of
- options is included below.
- -h, --help
- Show summary of options.
NOTE
- It is possible to create a grub boot disc using grub-in
- stall, although the boot disc created will be specific to the
- computer it is created on. Using grub-floppy will create a more
- generic floppy only limited by architecture.
