update-latex-ucs(8)
NAME
update-latex-ucs - Regenerate latex-ucs data directory
SYNOPSIS
update-latex-ucs [ -b ] [ -c ] update-latex-ucs -h
DESCRIPTION
- update-latex-ucs regenerates the data directory of latex
- ucs (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/ucs/data) from the glyph sources
- (*.ucf, *.ucf.gz) in /usr/share/latex-ucs-dev/config. It does so
- by calling the script makeunidef.pl ( (c) 2003 Dominique Unruh)
- with appropriate parameters.
- Before the generation process, the original data directory
- is renamed to data.old, for the case that anything goes wrong.
- After a successful generation process you may safely delete the
- data.old directory to save some space.
- After a successful generation process, mktexlsr is called
- to rebuild LaTeX's file hash.
OPTIONS
- This program follows the usual GNU command line syntax,
- with long options starting with two dashes (`-').
- -c, --comments
- Generate data files with comments (default is no
- comments). This option is simply passed to makeunidef.pl.
- -b, --nobackup
- Do not backup the original data directory before
- the generation.
- -h, --help
- Print a small help message.
