NAME
gstransfer - Calibrate color transfer curves for
GhostScript
SYNOPSIS
gstransfer [ upp_file ]
DESCRIPTION
gstransfer is a small utility for interactive calibration
of GhostScript color transfer curves. It reads a speci
fied .upp file and allows the manipulation of transfer
curves for the cyan, magenta, yellow, and black color.
Create a directory for the tests (e.g. ~/gscolortest),
change to it and copy the .upp pattern file for your
printer from the GhostScript directory to this location.
Then start gstransfer.
COMMANDS
- = Makes a linear curve of the selected color from 0
- to the value of the last point.
- + Adds a splitting point.
- - Cuts a splitting point.
- Scale Scales the curve of selected color with the
- entered scale factor. Color buttons Raises the points of the selected color.
- Print Print with new transfer scheme. Select a
- page position and check sheet format and
print command for raw printing. - Moving single point
- Click the point with left mouse button, move
the mouse vertically and click if you have
reached the new position. Clicking the right
button cancels the operation.
OPTIONS REQUIREMENTS
You need Tcl/Tk 8.0.x ( http://www.scriptics.com )
and GhostScript 5.x.
