lkcd_ksyms - list symbols from linux crash dump files in
/proc/ksyms format
SYNOPSIS
lkcd_ksyms map vmdump kerntypes
DESCRIPTION
- Lkcd_ksyms reconstructs /proc/ksyms at the time of system
crash from the memory dump file vmdump created by the
Linux Crash Dump with the corresponding kernel symbol file
map(System.map) and kernel type information file kerntypes . Output is redirected to the standard output. By using
the output, ksymoops can create an extended System.map
which contains the symbols of a kernel and all modules
which had been loaded when the system crashed. By using
this extended System.map, lcrash can be used for module debugging. Usually, vmdump calls lkcd_ksyms and generates a symbol map file automatically. Therefore user does not
use lkcd_ksyms directly.
