NAME
ximp3 -- is a console music player, that can be used on a machine that
doesn't provide X support
SYNOPSIS
ximp3 [-d device] [-b buffers] [-s] [-l] [-v] [-r]
DESCRIPTION
ximp3 is a simple console MP3 player. It is based on the GPL'ed Xing
decoder used in FreeAmp.
This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the
original program does not have a manual page.
OPTIONS
These programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long
options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is
included below.
- -h --help
- Show summary of options.
- -v --version
- Show version of program.
- -d Audio device to use. Default: /dev/dsp.
- -b Number of audio buffers to use. Deafult: 30
- -s Shuffle play; randomly shuffles files specified on the com
- mand line.
- -l Play files in an endless loop.
- -v Verbose output in standalone mode.
- -r Used when piping to ximp3shell. Not useful in standalone
- mode.
