NAME

xrusmodmap - version of xmodmap for use with xrus

SYNOPSIS

xmodmap [-options ...] [filename]

DESCRIPTION

xrusmodmap is a modified version of xmodmap for use with

xrus. The need for xrusmodmap arises because of: (1) standard

xmodmap(1) (XFree86-3.3.3 version) has a bug with realloc; and

(2) standard xmodmap(1) uses all columns of the keyboard map to

find keycodes for the keysym. This causes trouble with Russian

keyboard layouts.

This modification of xmodmap adds the option -K, which is

used to specify the set of key map columns which are used to find

keycodes from keysym. By default it uses two first columns.
