DESCRIPTION

firedns_aton4() takes an IPv4 address in dotted quad nota

tion in ipstring and returns a struct in_addr containing the ad

dress in binary format.

RETURN VALUE

Returns a struct in_addr containing the IP address in bi

nary form, or NULL if ipstring is not a valid IP.
