Crypto.secureHash(3kaya)
NAME
Crypto::secureHash - Generate a secure hash from a String.
SYNOPSIS
String secureHash( String pwd )
ARGUMENTS
pwd The String to hash
DESCRIPTION
Use the SHA256 algorithm to generate a secure hash from a String, for
example for encrypting passwords. Unlike the other Crypto(3kaya) functions, this function is not application-dependent.
